As the Klosterruine readies itself for winter, the exhibition Hibernationstation evokes the dream work of ruins. Yoshie Sugito sets the scene for a slumber party and invites somnambulant giants, you, and a gang of shadows. Sleep, usually privatized, figures here as a collective ritual of sensing a world not determined by the imagination of those that are supposedly awake.

For the opening concert, the internationally renowned musician Kazuhisa Uchihashi will play the daxophone, an experimental music instrument invented by Hans Reichel.

Während die Klosterruine sich auf den Winter vorbereitet, erinnert die Ausstellung Hibernationstation an die Traumarbeit von Ruinen. Yoshie Sugito inszeniert eine Übernachtungsparty und lädt somnabule Riesen ein, Sie, und eine Bande von Schatten. Schlaf, für gewöhnlich eine privatisierte Tätigkeit, wird hier zum kollektiven Ritual, durch das eine Welt zu erahnen ist, die nicht mehr von der Vorstellungskraft der vermeintlich Aufgeweckten begrenzt ist.

Für das Eröffnungskonzert wird der international renommierte Improvisationsmusiker Kazuhisa Uchihashi das Daxophon spielen, ein von Hans Reichel entwickeltes Instrument aus der experimentellen Musik.
