Klosterruine Berlin

As the Klosterruine readies itself for winter, the exhibition “Hibernationstation” evokes the dream work of ruins. Yoshie Sugito sets the scene for a slumber party and invites somnambulant giants, you, and a gang of shadows. Sleep, usually privatized, figures here as a collective ritual of sensing a world not determined by the imagination of those that are supposedly awake.
For the opening concert, the internationally renowned musician Kazuhisa Uchihashi will play the daxophone, an experimental music instrument invented by Hans Reichel.
